Hi @mmrogge. You can not run non-Square software on Register. Register is a closed ecosystem and is not meant to be a full-function tablet, nor is it advertised to be one. I’d be surprised if Square ever opens those tablets up to third-party software, but maybe they will.
You can do that with Square POS on an iPad or Android tablet, however. That’s one of the reasons I’ve never switched from iPad POS — I have other apps that I want my employees to access on the iPad for things like controlling our house music and managing opening/closing checklists.
