Missing Sales on report

Hi Square Community,

I’m located in Yukon, Canada, where Daylight Saving Time is not observed. Recently, I’ve noticed that my sales reports are showing incorrect dates and in some cases, sales appear to be missing entirely.

After some digging, it looks like this might be a time zone mismatch issue. My business operates year-round on UTC -7 (Yukon Standard Time), but Square seems to be shifting timestamps as if we were on Pacific Time, which does observe DST. This is throwing off the daily sales reporting and making reconciling quite difficult.

I’ve already checked my Square Dashboard and can’t find an option specific to Yukon Standard Time — only Pacific Time, which doesn’t work for us due to DST changes.

Has anyone else in the Yukon experienced this issue?
Or does anyone know how to force Square to stay on permanent UTC -7 without adjusting for daylight saving?

I’d really appreciate any help or insights from the community or Square staff. This is crucial for accurate reporting and accounting.

Hello there, @Grumpyschnitzel 

 

I've seen this happen before. What you will want to look for is your Location Details. Once there, you will want to Select your Location(s) and edit the Business Hours Time Zone. If your problem persists after modifying the hours, please let me know here so I can investigate this further.
