Loyalty Message on Customer Display

Has anyone found a way to modify the loyalty message that displays on the customer display?  It reads: "Sign up to get loyalty [stars] and coupons"

 

But we do not offer coupons as part of our program - we use the %discount for X [stars].

Do you use the loyalty program or are you just offering your own discounts manually when people leave you reviews? (assuming thats what you mean by the X [stars]).

 

I found the below online (it's not very helpful, but if you're not using the loyalty program itself which is another Square subscription / product, you may want to just switch it off).

 

We opted to do our own manual discount (the loyalty program is a bit pricey for our business), but we have a note at the bottom of email receipts 'We'd love your feedback — please leave us a Google review, and we'll give you 10% off your next visit to thank you for your time" type thing.

Buyer Check-In and Enrolment

After you’ve set up and activated your Loyalty program and subscription, you can opt to show your customers a screen during the checkout process inviting them to enrol or sign in to your Loyalty program with their phone number. The Loyalty screen will appear during each transaction regardless of whether their purchase has earned them a point or reward.

To enable this on your Square Point of Sale app or Square Terminal:

  1. Tap More > Settings.

  2. Select Loyalty and toggle on Customer check-in on customer display.

To enable this on Square Register:

  1. Tap More > Settings.

  2. Select Checkout > Customer management.

  3. Toggle on Loyalty and Text Message Marketing opt-in on customer display.

After each transaction, your customer will receive a text message indicating they’ve been enrolled and, if applicable, earned their first point, along with a link to their loyalty program status.

Note: Your customer will receive text messages when they enrol in your loyalty program, when they earn points, when they are eligible for a reward or when their points are expiring. They can unsubscribe from text messages at any time. If they are using Cash App to track their Loyalty status, they can also configure their Loyalty notification settings on their mobile device directly.
