Links on website

Hi Community,

Currently building my simple website thats more just like a landing card for our financial advice business. I need to add three external links for compliance (they are pdfs but update regularly) how do I add these as like buttons or simple one word things for example "privacy policy" then when clicked on that wording would go to the pdf external in another browser. Ideally I would love these in the footer of the website.

Any advice welcome although I am a complete novice so keep that in mind.

Many Thanks,

Amber

Hi @Amber77, welcome to the Square Community. I am happy to help get this figured out for you!

You are welcome to add a PDF directly to your website.

Here are some steps on doing so:

  1. Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Websites.

  2. Select Website > Edit site.

  3. Open the page you want to add a PDF file to.

  4. Select +Add > Section and select PDF.

  5. In the editing panel, expand the PDF embed option and upload your file.

  6. In the editing panel to customize your PDF section, adjust the section title and description, edit buttons, add a link, and change the section layout and style.

  7. Publish your site to see the changes live.

I hope this helps a bit! Please let me know if you would like me to include any screenshots of how to do the steps above for you.
