Hello All! We recently purchased a receipt printer that works with the sticky paper so we can place the in-person order tickets on each cup of coffee, tea, etc (like Starbucks does, for example). However, when the tickets print, at the bottom it says the printer profile that's being used along with the name of the printer itself (like "Coffee Station Profile - Bar Register 1"). I'm not sure why that's on there to begin with, but do you know if there's a way to remove it? It would save paper and make the tickets shorter where they'd fit more comfortably on the cups. Thank you!
Hi there, @sadmonkeytx,
Thanks for reaching out, and congrats on the new sticky-paper printer, those labels make drink service so much smoother! The line you’re seeing at the bottom of each ticket automatically added by Square to help identify which printer and profile produced the ticket. At the moment, Square doesn’t provide an option to remove or hide that footer text, so it can’t be disabled in the settings. I know that extra line can take up valuable space on cup labels, and I completely understand wanting a cleaner, shorter ticket. I’m happy to share your feedback with our team, so they can consider adding a toggle for this in the future.
@Ellie_ Thank you for your response! I'll keep an eye out for an option in the future. And yes, the sticky tickets have been great so far and would recommend to anyone reading this 🙂
