Hey there @Sperkins67. First, I don’t know who Sam is, so I don’t know exactly what you bought. Can you elaborate?
In general, you can connect a terminal to the internet via Ethernet cable, as long as you also have the Hub for Square Terminal. That comes with terminals sold by Square, but may or may not have come with the one you want to buy from “Sam.”
