Is anyone else getting the 'Suspended deposits until we clear something up' message ?

What a scam !   A few days before Xmas and you want to suspend our deposits until you 'clear something up ?'  What a crock.  I went in and the 'clear something up' was just confirming we don't do cash out.  Now I have to wait another 2 business days before my transfers start again.

 

Smells like a pre-Xmas cash grab from Square to me !

Thanks for writing in with this question, I'd be happy to shed a light here. 

 

It sounds like there is a review on your Square account. I know this sounds alarming, but Square periodically reviews all accounts to make sure Square is a secure place to do business for everyone. 

 

When we place an account under review, we temporarily suspend transfers to linked bank accounts until the review is resolved. The funds are held in your Square balance. 

 

The team would have let you know that this review should be completed within two business days. If Account Services needs any additional information from you, they will reach out via email.

I've been waiting 6 days for my suspension to be taken off.  I have no money to finalise my weeks bills etc. This is not right

I don't understand how and POS supplier is able to withhold YOUR money because they want to ask something.  Doesn't seem right to me.
