I need to start tracking my sales, which items i'm selling. How do I get my sold items not to show u

How do I get my sold items not to show up on my phone or my square register when I'm at a show?
i have them hidden, but they are still cluttering up my item list which will slow me down. I don't want to delete them, and some I want showing because I can make to order.

2 ways I can think of doing this.

  1.  )  Sign up for Locations and when an Item is sold out have it listed as only for sale at your location that your currently not at.  So if you sell at your store and at Popup events.  You could show the Item only available to be sold at the store.  This is all Manual by you switching the item to the other location and also requires paying for more locations.
  2. The other way is to create a folder of all items that have a quantity of 0 or Sold out.  Again when you sell the Item you have to put this item into Category Sold Out that you created before this.  The benefit of this is you can show clients all Items you can make for a future purchase but are sold out now.  This is also free no extra Locations expense.

Now both of these ideas can be done by exporting your catalog to excel.  Then use excel and power query that if Quantity = 0 make column category cells = Sold Out.   Then when you upload your Catalog back to Square your Category for items of Quantity 0 is in a Category titled Sold out.  The issue is if you make 1 off items evrytime you sell an item you would have to go to Items in your Square app or on a computer and change the category you assigned to Sold Out.    Square lets sellers see sold out items to remind them either to order more or show people hey we can make one like this.

As far as I know Square does not have a feature to not show items that the Quantity is 0.  Would be nice if there was a Check box or toggle to not show items with Quantuity of 0 or -.
