saw on website the VPOS EC350 cash drawer is compatible with square terminal. I have come across a VPOS EC410. being a newer model can anyone tell me if it will be compatible.
Hey @GOTS,
Provided the connection is an RJ11 or RJ12 plug this should work fine - but if you're not already aware, note that these cash drawers will not plug directly into Square Terminal. Being printer driven cash drawers, you'll need to connect them with a Terminal-compatible receipt printer.

Thanks for providing the extra details Seamus. It has given me a better understanding of what to look for going forward.
I have a square terminal and also the adapter box thing that allows me to plug in a USB barcode reader. Will that allow the VPOS EC-350 Cash Drawer to work with the Square Terminal? Given it has built in printer it seems stupid to have to buy another receipt printer.
Thank you.
Thanks for getting in touch @Girlvic. 👋
As the VPOS EC-350 is a printer-driven cash drawer, it needs to be connected to a compatible USB or LAN (Ethernet) receipt printer to function correctly. The built-in printer in the Square Terminal cannot directly control the cash drawer.
If you’re looking for a cash drawer that will connect to the Square Terminal via the USB Hub, you would need a compatible USB Cash Drawer.
