I am having difficulty adding team member..have gone through all steps and getting error code about “access denied to hardware”

Thanks for posting - I'm sorry to hear you're having issues adding a new team member. Could you please share a screenshot of the error message?
Did you create the team member through the Dashboard or a Square POS app ?
Have you tried adding the team member from a different device on both the Dashboard or the POS app ? I also suggest going through the browser troubleshooting steps outlined on this Support Centre article.
Let me know if this fixes the issue.
