Compatible Sticky Label Printers for Square Register

Hi all! I just recently this week open a beverage shop (teas, shakes, smoothies etc) and have had quite a large amount of requests to start accepting online orders. I will need to get a sticky label printer. I know there are a couple of models Square recommends but I was wondering if any other business owners had any luck with a label printer that is more cost effective? To be clear what I am wanting to do is have a label print when an order comes in or even when an order is placed in the shop that has the order on the label and the label is then put onto the cup. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I know it would need to be USB. Thank you!

Hey there! 

I'm not sure if the dymo label printers work with Square but I use that thru my inventory management software and they're decent! 

I would recommend getting a used one though. The new ones require dymo branded labels.

Since I was tagged in this I will let you know that currently I do not have a setup like what you want to do.  All my online order go to my back office then I print a Packing slip from a Computer to pull the correct order then place the Packing Slip with the correct order.

I do use Zebra printers for my candle and price tags as sticky labels, and I love the Zebra printers.  From my research they can be a little pricy but are also top notch.  But again my Zebra Sticky Label Printers are not connected to print right from Square.  When I set my systems up the limited choice of labels kept me out of the Square eco system.  

Now the ZD411 Zebra sticky label printer is a Direct Thermal Printer.  This means no INK or Ribbons to buy in th future.

You only need to buy the Direct Thermal Labels, for this printer and then the Heat is what Prints the Characters or Graphics.
