Can i use customer display on the square app

I want to have a customer display option without any hardware and just using the app where I use my phone as ordering and my tablet that is not a iPad as the customer display system

Hi @aidensbar9.. Can you please clarify.  Are you wanting a display for a customer to pay on through the phone app?  Or are you wanting to display customer information in the phone app?

@aidensbar9 Thanks.  So I'm assuming that you are using the regular Square POS app, and possibly the Square Invoices and/or Square Appointments app.  Any of these give you access to customer information, as well as the capability of adding customers to transactions, invoices, appointments, etc.  You can even set up your phone to have tap-to-pay capabilities if you are collecting payment immediately.  And you can connect a Square Contactless Reader to your phone.

 

That's pretty general, though.  If you have specific questions or concerns about how you want it to work, feel free to expand on your question and I'll do my best to answer them.

@aidensbar9 If you want help here, you need to make an effort please.  What, exactly, "don't work?"  Are you getting error messages?  Are you getting blank screens?  How do you know that whatever you are expecting to work doesn't work?  Screen shots would help.  Being specific about what you are doing, the steps you are taking, etc, will give us clues to go on to help you.  But just saying "don't work" makes it impossible to even know where to start.  Thanks for any specifics you can give to allow us to help you.
