Can POS ask for donation during a sale?

Hi all. We operate a not for profit facility with a gift shop. We also manage an historical building that needs renovations. Is there a way for Square to ask for a donation during the sale (much like when it asks for a tip at a restaurant)? Ideally we'd like to ask for a $2.00 donation during the payment process.

Hey @PEIGuy, thank you so much for your post, and welcome to the Square Community! Delighted to have you onboard with us. 

Although it's not possible to accept donations on the POS system, you can create an item and name it "Donation", price it at $2.00 and ask your customers at checkout if they'd like to add it to their purchase.
