Can I use square in Australia

Travelling to Australia in June and will need to process transactions. Was hoping to use Square while there. Have reviewed old threads about this, but they are from 2016 so asking again for an update on this information.

At this time, accounts remain usable in the country in which they are created. In your case, your account only works in Canada. To process payments in Australia, you would need to create an account and complete identity verification in Australia.
