Can I sell product in Italy

We are US based & going to be selling Merch for our Music tour in Italy, I am told we cannot accept payments in Italy?

Square’s hardware is only approved for use in the country where the account is activated. If you're selling merchandise in person outside of that country, you won’t be able to process card payments.

However, you can still accept cash or other tender types through the app. Another option is to set up a Square Online site and have customers complete their purchases there. I know this may not be ideal, but it’s a great workaround for selling internationally.
