Availability of House Accounts in Australia

Hi 

Was wondering when house accounts would be available in Australia. I have had a number of large businesses approach me to set up an account where they can purchase goods and pay later (monthly) via credit card. At this time I can't find a way of doing this and talking to support, they informed me that it is not a feature available in Australia.

This would prove very helpful in our cafe along with being able to park a sale to retrieve and complete later. These are simple tasks available in other retail POS systems and if integrated into the Overseas software surely can be included into the Australian system.

Has anyone in Australia found a work around for this other than the old fashioned way of writing it in a book?

Hi @centralbeans,

Are you using SquarePOS or Square for Retail.  In SquarePOS, you can turn on open tickets. This is how we take phone orders in our Fish and Chip shop. We leave them open until the customer picks up their order. This is also how restaurants save tickets for tables in their restaurants. I am not sure if this is available for Square for Retail as i have never used it. 

If you are just using base SquarePOS > More > Settings > Open Tickets and turn the feature on.

Then a button will appear under the charge button to save the ticket when you ring up an order.

To retrieve the full bill you click the Tickets button and you can see all the open tickets and charge when they are ready to pay.
