can I have a cart / checkout WITHOUT the online store?

Hi, super new to square, rebooting a half-dead online biz 🙂

Mostly art prints, framed art, tees, pillows, that sort of thing.

I can build my own website, and I have a square reader. Is it possible to simply set up products in squareup or even on my square app on my phone, and then just add a checkout cart for a given product directly to my webpage?

Hey @sunship - Sounds like you're already on the right track! You can definitely use Square API to checkout items if you have your own website.
