I logged into my square account today and discovered all my transaction history is gone as well as my inventory items. It opened as a brand new app asking me to do a fresh setup. All my settings, transaction history, inventory database are all gone!!! What has happened to make everything disappear!! HELP!

It sounds like you accidentally created a new account with a different email address. An email address can be connected to one Square Point of Sale account at a time. So all of your items and transaction history is probably still there, but under a different email address you own.
