Iโve had to keep buying new Square Stands just to replace the USB hub. Why do they keep failing? Is there any way to fix the USB hub without replacing them

Unfortunately, the USB hub built into the Square Stand isnโt a part that Square sells separately, so if it fails, thereโs no official replacement or repair option for just the hub itself.
However, sometimes the issue isnโt the hub itself but a connection, cable, or the connected accessory. Itโs worth double-checking that the hubโs connection to the Stand is secure and that youโre using a compatible, good-quality power adapter and USB cables. If you havenโt yet, try unplugging everything, inspecting the ports for damage or dust, and reconnecting firmly.
The stands should fall under warranty though. How many stands have you purchased with this issue? How long did you have the stands before the issue with the USB hub started?
