"Payments are not enabled for this site."

Hello dear community

I use the starter plan and may offer 10 products for sale. PayPal has been fully and successfully connected. My domain is running on SSL.

And still, when I want to buy a created product, this message always appears

"Payments are not enabled for this site."

All the hints I found for this troubleshooting have already been implemented on my end.

What else can it be?

I would be very grateful for any help and tips.

Hi there @Ashram-Mallorca, welcome to the Seller Community 🙂

Thanks for flagging this here and sorry to hear you're running into this.

It looks like you may have registered your account in a country where Square is not yet available. Currently, card processing is only available in the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, France and Spain.

If you do not have a registered address in any of these countries, you won't be able to accept payments with Square for the time being, unfortunately.

I hope this helps!

Hi @Breffni

thank you for your kind reply.

But I wanna use only PayPal. I've got a business acount and it should run.

In addition, I live in Spain with Spanish bank account.
But as I said, I have only activated Paypal because it is sufficient for small amounts for me.
And that just does not work, although everything was connected correctly. Have also checked everything in the paypal settings, also there the weebly connection is correct.

Do you have therefore an other idea?

Best regard from Mallorca

Thanks for getting back to me @Ashram-Mallorca

In that case, you'll need to create a new Square España account, and register your personal and business details again, it looks like you are registered in Denmark currently.

With regard to using Paypal with Square, I just wanted to confirm that it's only currently possible to accept payments with PayPal on Square Online and it requires an upgrade to one of our paid plans (Rendimiento).

If this is what you are looking for, then please go ahead and create a new account!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you @Breffni for your support, but I think there is a misunderstanding.

In Weebly > "Checkout" there are 3 payment methods offered - Square- Stripe - Paypal, all of which can be connected separately.

I have chosen Paypal and it is also connected successfully.

I don't want to sign up with Square because I selected Paypal as a separate standalone payment system.

And for that I don't need to sign up another new account with more fees.

I just want to include my 10 Artikelt in the system and offer them only with the payment method Paypal.

But it just does not work.

I don't understand how it can be solved with Square, if it is another payment method, which I have not selected and I don't want to register there.

Why else weebly under checkout explicitly offers Paypal as a separate payment method, if I then have to register with Square.

Thanks for the resolution of the problem.

Hi @Ashram-Mallorca, thanks for the details.

In this case, you'll need to contact the Weebly team directly.

You are able to reach our Customer Success team by scrolling to the bottom of our Support Center, https://www.weebly.com/app/help/us/en, and clicking the contact us button. Once you see the automated chat window, we recommend typing in “Speak with a rep” to be directed to the teams available to your account.

I hope this helps!
