I'm trying to set this up for online, but the idea is applicable to both.
Is it possible to set suggested tips by category (or item)? I have a 20% suggested tip set up on my online store. This works great for most items. However, in addition to regular cafe sales (coffee, pastries, etc), we also host writing classes, and I've been creating those as items which can be sold in person at the shop, or online. I would really love to remove the suggested tip for that category - Writing Classes - while leaving it in place for the rest of what we offer. Is that possible, even through a workaround? I see there are some old questions about this (2016) but haven't found any answers yet. I know that people can remove the tip when checking out, but I've had several people miss it, and don't want people to feel like this is a service we expect to be tipped for. It doesn't make sense for those tips to go into the main staff tip pool, and there's no good way to apply it to the writing program or pass it along to the teacher (who isn't an employee).
Any ideas?
