Hello there,
I had not heard about a migration from Open Tickets to Orders. In my opinion, from a little bit of interaction, I find the experience to be significantly worse. The interactions feel slower, the orders screen seems more convoluted, and the process of grabbing names off of cards to start tabs feels far more clunky. I can't pull names off of cards with a swipe anymore, just chip. The format that names appear in is less ideal (i.e. LASTNAME/FIRSTNAME) compared to just doing the full name before, which was much easier to read at a glance, in my opinion. And it seems like it takes more button presses than it did before.
Is there a way I can go back to the previous Open Ticket setup? It is far preferable to me.

Hey there, @SIDEBAR_SC -
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to go back to the previous version after the migration. I do appreciate the feedback on what you've experienced.

This was a mistake, just like removing the swipe reader from the stand. This new screen has much unneeded information, and isn’t as clean and organized as the old screen. The WORST part is not being able to harvest a name for a new tab by swiping a card. Also, removal of the nice user friendly “New Tab” button was a big mistake as well. This overall design is extremely poor.
This is a significant step back in terms of workflow/efficiency.
