update a sent invoice with additional client information and add notes to previously paid invoice

Hello  I would like to update client information, sometimes we will would like to be able to update information, such as add an email to an already created unpaid, invoice.  However, we find that we cannot.  Also, I would like to be able to add notes (not to be seen by client) to a previously paid invoice, because it would be great to be able to keep track of any additional things we might have to do in the future.

Yes! Being able to update customer information, particularly email addresses, is essential.

It can be quite frustrating when a customer changes their email and requests that all invoices sent to the old address be resent to the new one — currently, there's no way to do this! We end up having to save each invoice as a PDF and manually email them to the customer, which is an unnecessary hassle. There should be an option to update customer information on already created invoices, especially for those that remain unpaid.
