Hello i’m a hairstylist who wants use square and square appointments for my website for customers to book services with me but each of my services comes with add on that i created as modifiers but square doesn’t allow me to add modifiers to services only items. This request would not only help me but many others. i like square and square appointments app so id be very happy if you guys approve my request so i can continue using them. thank you. -laila gay • [email protected]

@laila2 Fellow seller, here.  Can you clarify something?  You said that Square doesn't allow adding modifiers to services, only items."  This simply is not true.  What is true is that those modifiers aren't working in online bookings, yet.  Is THAT what you are asking for, or did you just not realize that you can add modifiers to services and use them in person on your POS?

If I may jump in here, @laila2 are you wanting to have those modifiers automatically change the appointment timing so that people could add a treatment with their service (for example) and it would be automatically adjust their service time AT THE TIME OF BOOKING or do you want it to be able to do something different?

As a hairstylist myself, I presume that they meant any additional requests (add-ons) a client required could be added onto their booking. I am currently struggling with this myself and the modifiers would change the total price as well as personalise/change the hairstyles. To add them on as separate services is long winded
