To schedule breaks in the "shifts" for other employees to see on the app as well

We should be able to schedule breaks when making shifts, instead of being ghetto and putting it into the "notes" sections or having employees ask every day, "what time is my break". This feature should also be visible in the teams app for all the employees to see. So all the employee know what time there break is and other team members break is. So they should also be able to switch break times with eachother as well. In case an employee wants an earlier or later break. They can go on to the app and see who has the later break and request to switch with another team member. 

I promise you, every single Square employee has this on their schedule. Why do we need to ask for this to be a feature is crazy!?!?!? Yall got to do better or hire better developers to make these simple changes quickly instead of these updates once or twice a year. Take all the features you have with your employees and the payroll and time schedule features you use with all your employees and add them to this. This is very common sense. Dont give us this basic payroll and time shceduling and have the top of the line for your company. Us business owners deserve better!!! We working hard just like yall. Make it a priority to make our lives easier too, so we can focus on our business. Imagine Apple did only 1 update a year? They do one massive one YEARLY and TONS of mini ones through out the year!

Hi @JBATISTA116 - thanks for the feedback.  We definitely hear you on the need for this feature!  We are working a quite a few improvements to our Shifts product (scheduling, tips, and more) as we speak and have this on our list to tackle in the coming months.

No, they havent made any updates in years. They must have fired the whole team, cause aint no one working in this dept. This platform had so much potential, but clearly they dont care about it. Def look for other payroll services.

Hi @carolegraphics - we still have plans to tackle this work in the upcoming months.  Starting with some predefined defaults, we will then look to layer on the ability to schedule them directly when creating a shift. 

@JBATISTA116 I’m not sure if we ever got to connect directly as indicated earlier in this thread but I’ll reach out directly to ensure we can speak.  We are continuing to address top seller requests and lots is in development right now. I want to learn more about your business in particular to ensure we are striking the right balance across our areas of focus.

Am I missing something? I can create a standard break, but when I schedule a shift of 8 hours, I need to be able to indicate when the break is, and the effect that will have on the total time scheduled!
