Text message alert for in-person orders

Is Square planning to add text message alerts for in-person orders? Toast, FreshKDS, Easy Eats and many other KDS systems use this feature. The customer's phone number is put in at the register directly into the POS and then when the order is "cleared" from the KDS, the customer receives a text. Much like the currently available feature for online orders. I just feel that Square needs to add this feature for in person orders as well.

Doesn't this exist today with the "notify when ready" feature?  Take the guests phone number during the transaction and when you clear it from the KDS Expeditor it sends a text notification that it is ready.  I believe this works now.

This is already a feature but don’t know if you need “loyalty” or “marketing” for it to apply.
