Hi! I use Square for everything except texting.

I was so excited for the Messages Plus feature, however, I think it is missing a few key elements.

It would be great to have Messages Plus include a "welcome" text that is customizable and allows for two way texting. Further, being able to communicate with clients regarding their feedback on our services would be our next step.

I understand there are consent issues with this feature since clients would have to "opt-in" to receiving text messages, however, I am unclear how this is any different than the automated appointment reminders.

Our welcome texts, currently, contain prep instructions for their appointment which is necessary for a client. If this is created, can't we add a disclaimer when booking that says "by booking with our salon, you consent to SMS text messages"?

I am sure it is much more complicated than that, however, I would like to move my entire system over to square and texting is that last and final piece. Thank you!
