Up until a few months ago, when I would add new items to my online store (Square Online) it would automatically push the new items to the top of the list. After each new item added, when it reverts back to the item list screen, all new items would appear at the top. This was perfect because I add new items manually (not imported) once a month (dozens at a time), add them all initially as unavailable, then when I have finished I could just go through the list and bulk select everything at once to show visible. I do this so my 'drop' times are accurate when I advertise them, because it takes me a few hours to upload everything to the site. If I made each new item visible as I created it, items would be available on my website before I wanted them to be (at the advertised drop date/time).
That feature disappeared and now my items only show alphabetically. Now I have to go through dozens of screens to pick out all the newly added items and mark them for visibility. It takes twice as long now. This would be a great feature to reactivate. It was there once before - it was that way as described above for at least 1.5 years for me. I don't know why you would remove that feature.
I'd like to add my voice to this! It would absolutely simplify the process of updating the Online store, especially because I can't sync category and inventory between Square POS and Square online!!!
This would make my life so much easier to be able to find any newly added items so that I can edit them immediately after adding. There is no way otherwise.
