It seems unusual that the Register collects name/email/details from the customers (either via manual input or via reading the name from the credit card), yet does not use this information to greet the customer on the customer display.
It would be a great (friendly, logical) improvement if the screen said something like "Hello John", "Thank You Jane", etc. after a sale or when their sale is manually 'connected' to the sale by the salesperson.
