For retailers and most outlets, marketing is an art of persuasion. Many different factors influence the buying decision. When marketing new products, it’s critical that you consider the impact of colors on the buying decision. Research shows that the proper use of color increases brand recognition by 80%. It also raises the visual appearance by 93%. A further 85% of consumers buy because of color.

Upvoting the text color part -- for both headline blocks and text blocks. While I will never use it for many reasons, it does have its place for some sellers.   Also, I'm going to share a link to this feature request on an active thread about that very topic, so that those who want to can come here and upvote it.

That being said, @1920, are you aware that pretty much everything else in an email can have them colors and formatting -- and that one of those can be saved as your default to use for all future campaigns?   First, open a new email campaign.  Then click on the Style button where you can change overall color, button shapes, fill and fonts, and even background and foreground colors.  After you set things up as you want, scroll back up to the top of that section and click "Save as your default settings."  This creates a new theme called "Custom."  Then when you create a new email campaign, you can go to the Themes tab and click on that Custom theme to have it auto-applied to the new campaign you are working on.

Still, this IS missing headline and text color defaults, and those should be added to custom themes at the very least.

Lots of us want font colors back in Square Marketing Email Campaigns. https://community.squareup.com/t5/Customer-Engagement/Email-Font-Colors-Removed/m-p/813009#M3569

I endorse all customization options being available! Especially in marketing!

More options are always better, though overusage can be annoying, it still should be an option.

@VanKalkerFarms especially since it used to be a feature a lot of us depended on and it got turned off out of the blue…

I think this is a great idea and fully support it. the more we can offer in flexibility to design and put our on branded stamp on things within the Square system the better, it helps with the marketing of our business.
