Is there a way to print pending orders for fulfillment? I see that I can print them when I click on each individual order, but is there a way to print all pending orders without having to individually select them?
At this time most Restaurants and food services have orders auto-printing as they become needed to be able to commit to prep time and delivery/pick-up time @nateyandbode.
You can auto print online orders via a kitchen pritner, or thermal printer - like @jj Ortiz and @Kassi_ mentioned. This is ideal for restaurants offering pickups for online orders, for example, where a docket might be needed for the kitchen to start prepping. To get started with automatic order tickets, take a look at our guide here. Please let us know if you have any further questions, we're happy to help 🙂
Ah, so it looks like I'd have to have a permanent terminal set-up to do this, right? Like I mentioned, I am primarily web/e-commerce but was looking for a way to have a hard copy of orders for fulfillment. I don't have a "checkout" that is always set-up, so I wouldn't really have a device to print from (aside from the computer/tablet/phone I use for online orders).
How do I go about making this feature request? Right now, I'm ok with working around this, but it's becoming more and more difficult the more my business grows. I don't see how I'm going to be able to expand without being able to delegate fulfillment to another person. In order to do that, I have to be able to provide them with details of the individual orders. I'm just shocked that there is not a way to view each pending order to fulfill them without having to individually look at the orders. If business is good and orders are coming in quickly, I can't risk having to click into each order to print - it's definitely prone to overlooking.
Anyway, I'm desperate for this feature. How can I request?
