it would save me so much time and stress if square automatically told us what holidays days are and if we could toggle on and off "block off holidays" or something along those lines. thank you !
I'm not an Appointments seller, but I'm upvoting this, anyway. Holidays, in general, would be very helpful, not only in Appointments, but in displaying hours for our websites, in automatically turning on and off online ordering when we are closed, etc. Just having a special days/hours lists (like Yelp, Google, etc, etc, etc,) would be a big time and headache saver!
I've asked for this several times at this point. It really needs to be integrated into Appointments, and its absense is really painful as you scale the available staff.
For a specific example: I just on-boarded an new employee. Their new recurring schedule includes Mondays. It's not enough to set that up though, I also have to go block off Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc... It makes it so that Holiday management is an ongoing task, when it really should be "Set it and forget it".
