Physical Cards for Loyalty

I can understand why Square has moved away from cards, but it would be great if they could make it so we can use them (but don't have to)

I own a bar, and if during peak hour, when we have 100 people at the bar, if we had to ask their phone number (and then type it in) for the 10 times they get a drink/food, it just isn't feasible. 

I don't know much about coding, but surely we can setup a swipe, or bar code scanner (that we create) and Square can make it so scanning that automatically brings up their membership.

I understand how having a physical loyalty card could be helpful for your business. At this time, digital loyalty is the only version offered, but if enough sellers show interest in a physical card this could potentially change in the future. A workaround in the meantime could be that customers are able to add a digital pass to your businesses loyalty program on their smartphone. That way it is at least a bit quicker!

Is there an option for android customers to have a digital loyalty card on their device?

@hunterscake, unfortunately not at this time. Adding loyalty passes is only available on iOS devices.

The digital cards can be added to both Apple / Google wallets. And the QR code / barcode can be scanned at checkout to autopopulate customer information for automatic discounts (if applicable) and / or calculate loyalty points. The loyalty points are updated in real time in the wallets. We can also issue physical cards if required.

Highly recommend https://qrspin.io for your digital loyalty stamp card, it allows you to collect customer e-mail, google reviews, and instagram follows. Customers register and sign up with incentives such as a chance to spin the wheel to win a prize. Each signup automatically gets a web based digital stamp card. They can further download the google / apple wallet and a bonus chance to scratch and win with each stamp earned.
