Nontaxable Item Report

Please. We need a nontaxable item sales report.

Every quarter when I have to submit my sales taxes it takes me HOURS to figure out what you have decided is included in the non-taxable item sales. It never everrrrrrr matches up with my transactions reports for the same time period, and I really don't think I should have to download a separate report and filter by tax and try to reconcile those numbers. I've found multiple threads going back 8+ YEARS asking for a non-taxable item sales report. Please please please make this feature.

@UTUBookstore Unfortunately a dedicated non-taxable item sales report does not currently exist in Square. The documentation confirms there's no native filter for it — you're stuck doing exactly the manual reconciliation you described.

Hopefully with it in the feature request and hope enough people upvote it to be looked at and maybe be added in future updates.

@UTUBookstore, just so you don’t feel alone, I also have raised this issue to Square on more than one occasion pointing out the discrepancies in the tax report.

Me too! multiple times 

we print a sales report everyday and any of our receipts that are tax exempt or have a tax exempt service item we printout and they are reconciled and inputted daily with our accounting program.  My staff know if it is an outlier just print it to be on the safe side.

it is the best way.
