Multiple rules to apply discount

Multiple rules to apply discount

I see this came up a couple of years ago, but I wanted to bring it back up.  It would be a very useful enhancement to apply a discount to customers of certain type, when they purchase specific items.. Right now you can only do one or the other which adds multiple steps to the checkout process.  The idea of applying 2 rules to a discount doesn't seem that complicated, and it would be incredibly useful to save time at checkout.

Thank you for considering.

+1, so surprised this isn't a feature. I would like to apply combinations of automatic discount rules. Feels like it should just be an AND logical query or conditional statement.

Use case: CustomerGroup:Landscaper AND Category:Mulch, results in 10% discount. Right now, it can only be one or the other. Either the CustomerGroup gets 10% on everything or every customer gets 10% on mulch.

Please! We need this feature ASAP!

Please add this feature. Our use case: Monthly "coffee club" subscription:

1. Users who purchased the monthly subscription in the last 30 days are automatically added to the subscription group in our directory.

2. 100% off coffee and iced tea is automatically applied to only those items, and only for people in that directory group. (this is where the feature request here would be imperative).

3. People in that directory group also get a separate 100% off of one handcrafted beverage a month. This one would require more logic in the discount: IS part of the group, ITEM is one of the list, FREQUENCY is once per month.

Agreed! This would be wonderful.

This is such an important feature.

I am concerned by Square's lack of acknowledgement about this feature request.
