Gift Cards - Use at online checkout + split payment

Currently using the online checkout in Square - A customer can't use a gift card online, and then pay the remaining balance using another payment method. 

When developing gift card functionality for the online checkout, this should have been developed in the first place as it's a pretty standard and expected feature for customers with a gift card. 

Now - anyone that buys a gift card for my business, has to get in contact with me, so I can manually process a split transaction.

Secondly, I definitely understand and see how this would be helpful for your business. Unfortunately at this time, this functionality is not available. Similar feedback has been brought to our product team, so hopefully at a point soon, this can be changed.

For now though, posting here on Ideate is the best next step. So we appreciate you.
