Feature Request: Australia Auto Card surcharge on Square Appointments

Right now, I can see the Beta Auto Card Surcharge on Square Dashboard. However, I cannot see the same applied on Square appointments app. I am using Square register.

As a small beauty salon business, this is very crucial to us. We run and provide service based on the appointments. And we are not able to pass auto card surcharge. The square fees are already pretty high. If we could pass the surcharge auto to customers using Square appointments, that would be great!

I am sure, this is very important for lot of service based businesses in Australia using appointments.

I hope this gets considered and implemented for appointments as well as I can already see in beta for other apps.

You are welcome, @sonam_serchan! I just sent your information over to the Beta team and they said that you actually should already have access to surcharging through Appointments.

This article has all the information on setting up surcharges through beta. As well as, the Beta team also provided these instructions for weekend/public holiday surcharges.

Is it something that they recently released as I am sure I didn't see Square appointments listed on the article before when I checked? I also got the email from Square just now saying New: Apply surcharges in Square Appointments?

Our Beta team said that this feature was actually released yesterday, so the timing of your post was perfect, @sonam_serchan!

I still cannot see it. Do I have to get new update installed in the Register?

Also, I am using Booking mode btw. Hope it will be available there as well. I can see it in Standard mode only at the moment!

I just checked with our Beta team and they said they were experiencing some issues with it yesterday but it should be resolved now, @sonam_serchan. Could you please give it another try and see if it is fixed for you?
