Daily Coffee Subscription

Hello,

I run a coffee shop, and I am looking into setting up a monthly subscription for my customers that will sync with their existing customer accounts. I want to set up subscription tiers that allow my customers one or multiple daily redemptions for different types of drinks based on their tier. When they sign in at the register or online, it limits and keeps track of whether they have redeemed their drink.

From what I have gathered, this type of integration exists as plugins with Subport and Craver, but it doesn't seem like Square itself has this functionality. Is this type of customer subscription something that Square plans to develop in the future? Or are there any tricks that I can use with what Square currently has to achieve this feature?

You are correct that the current subscription setup Square has wouldn't fully do what you want it to do. The only way I could see something like this would be some hoop-jumping with House Accounts and a notebook by your register. Obviously that's not a good solution for the long term.

Quite a few of us have been asking for updates to the subscription offerings, so I'll definitely +1 this request. As more people ask for new features for the subscriptions hopefully the powers that be in the development side will seriously look at this product.

Thanks for the information. Glad to hear that others are looking for the same thing. I can say, at least from my limited perspective, that a function like this would be a game-changer for the coffee shop world. I'll keep an eye out in the months and years to come to see if there are any developments like this.
