Customized global item page

It would be great to be able to have a customizable global items page. Being able add sections to the items pages and make those changes across all of our items would save a lot of time.

I agree with this.  Honestly, what we have now is oddly inconsistent.  Changes made to the boilerplate item fields (description, price, etc) seem to be made to all items automatically. But adding a section being excluded from this doesn’t make a lot of sense.

I agree - I'd love to be able to customise the layout (so the picture isn't so big and the description doesn't end up 5 words wide and 100 lines long), and also be able to add in information (like custom fields or ISBNs or something)
