Customer Facing Display - Reflect Visible and Invisible Field Profile Configuration settings

Reflect Visible and Invisible Field Profile Configuration settings at the customer facing display screen of the Square Register, showing only those fields that have been selected to be visible.  This will help to improve the efficiency at the register.  Currently the user has to be instructed to scroll down to the done button which is really not intuitive.  Having to explain that decreases productivity.  It also would prevent customers from putting information in the wrong field. 

 

For example, for our process all we really need is the name and mobile phone number. 

 

I would also ask that you reduced the number of required visible fields from three to two.   Keep the Name required and make the phone or email required.

I’ve gone ahead and changed the status of this feature request to “Open”. You provided a great assessment on the potential business use/need for something like this on our platform from a seller’s perspective. This is a useful tool for our Product Team to use as they build the future of our products.

 

As more information becomes available, a Community moderator will come in and change the status letting all of the subscribed sellers know.

hello! any updates on this? a little over two years later, i'm hoping this is fixed and i'm just missing something? I have configured the customer profile to have only 4 fields visible. After pressing 'add customer' and then '+' for a new customer on the Square register on the staff side it shows the selected fields i only want to show to the customer. However the customer screen shows all of them, which discourages customers from actually entering their details as it looks we need everything. And i need customer information to tie a sale to them and their card.
