Custom Order Alert Sounds Need to Louder

I own an ice cream shop that can be very noisy when machine compressors kick in, especially when they ALL kick in at the same time!  That wimpy little “new ticket” sounds in KDS just doesn’t compete, as you can imagine!

So, I’m requesting either a list of sounds that are more noticeable, longer, etc, or the ability to upload my own sounds.  And, of course, a setting to allow me to change to the one that works for me!

Why does a restaurant KDS/ square for restaurant app doesn't think it is important to have a loud, working notification sound for incoming orders? I have seen this issue been discussed for years. Can we get a clear answer of when the team will start working on a solution for this? Thank you in advance

Ive been using this KDS app for years now. But the blip sound it makes is not aggressive enough. I either need it longer or have the option to turn it off once accepted or something of the same manner. I get all my orders via my website, I am a ghostkitchen currently. I often miss the order beep since it only does it once. Been looking around other threads and apparently its an issue enough to be addressed. Specially when we pay 20$ a month for its service. Doordash / Uber has tablets with a bit more features essentially have this minimum.

the ring tone needs to be aggressive and longer than a 1 second blip. prove me wrong. Ive been using this app for the past 3 years and paying 20$ for a feature that should be there. Uber/ Doordash/Grub all have longer ringtones, why cant my square kds app have it as well?

Just got my KDS and finding out this same problem! So frustrating not being able to hear it! Please enhance the sound and custom ability of the order alert sounds in Square's KDS.

So been about 2 months since I've opened this ticket. I did get a confirmation from a beta team that it is on its way finally to have the sound/notifcation to be longer and more aggressive so we dont miss tickets coming in. When? idk. at least I did get something. Crazy how this has been an issue for some years now and they didnt think its a necessity to update/inquire to make better.

We are currently dealing with the need for a louder sound out of our KDS.  We are currently going to test a wireless speaker to attempt to address this, but am uncertain if it will work or not.
