Category Coupons + Stacking discounts

I would love the option to offer an automatic free or discounted item by category on my website. It's an option for in-person, but it would be a great feature to offer online. Additionally, if items are mix-and-matched, I wish it was an option to stack discounts. It's confusing for customers to only get one discount when multiple could apply if they're buying multiple items that might be on sale.

For example, I'm offering a "free postcard" to my customers this month - they're usually Buy 4 for $7 (they're $2 each). Ideally, a customer could buy 5 and it would total to be $7 (the BOGO deal + $2 discount for the additional postcard).

With the current automatic coupon/discount options, if a customer chooses multiple designs, EACH DESIGN is discounted for the $2, or if they buy multiple of one design, only the $2 discount is applied because "it's the higher value discount".
