Booking Flow Page Layout

Booking Flow Page Layout

It would be nice to be able to change and customize the booking flow page. To change the layout and color alone would be a good start. Being able to filter or sort by categories on the page as well.

Thank you,

Jason

I have been trying to figure this out 😕 I've gotten as far as in preview mode then go into edit mode while on the page but only allows change of colors/fonts, not organization of services.

I still can't find any other way to change the default view on this page or customize it further than the branding allows.

Hi Jason,

I completely agree with your suggestion. Having the ability to customize the booking flow page would make a huge difference, especially for businesses that want the layout and colors to match their branding. Even a simple option to adjust colors, fonts, or the overall design would help create a more professional and personalized experience for customers.

I just want the booking page to organise itself better. having all 159 services on one page is not convenient at all. Not being able to sell packages is also an issue; not being able to add gift cards is a huge flaw. Considering switching platforms, I've gone through countless posts dating back to 2020, and it appears to be an ongoing request going nowhere. I would love some sort of update on what/if anything, is in the works.

I completely understand — the booking page can definitely feel overwhelming when everything lives on one screen, especially with a large service menu.

Quick question: are you using a Square site for booking, or embedding Square Appointments elsewhere?

Packages are supported through Square Appointments, but Square Plus or Premium is required to create and sell them. This guide with videos walks through it step by step:

Gift cards and eGift cards are available on Square Free, Plus, and Premium — here’s how to set those up:

You can also embed both Square packages and gift cards directly on your website if you're not using a square website.

For reference, here’s how I organized packages on my Square booking site to make them easy to purchase online:

There are ways to make the booking page more organized and client-friendly without switching platforms, and I’d be happy to share tips if helpful! I really get where you’re coming from — Square could definitely make this easier, and I’m with you on wanting these improvements.

Hi @Vanilla,

Thank you so much for your response.

At the moment, I’m using Square Bookings embedded on an external page. I have Square Plus, but I didn’t realise I could embed Square booking links directly into my WordPress website (I’ve successfully embedded the booking page, but didn’t think the same was possible for packages).

Could you please advise whether it’s possible to embed packages and gift cards into a WordPress site, and if so, how I would go about doing that?

If it is possible, it would be ideal if Square could consolidate everything into one clean, organised booking page with tabs for Services, Packages, and Gift Cards to keep things simple for clients.

Looking forward to your reply.

That makes sense. I will make buttons and embed the link into those. I really appreciate your help. Now i just need to figure out how to beautify the 50 package variations we offer HAHA

Hi! Thanks for explaining your setup, that definitely helps.

Just to clarify, while Square doesn’t currently allow packages and gift cards to be embedded into an external site the same way the booking flow can be, you can still include them on your WordPress site by adding the Square URLs as buttons or links (for example, “View Packages” or “Buy a Gift Card”). This keeps things simple and very client-friendly.

Although the booking flow itself doesn’t consolidate everything into one tabbed view, Square Sites does allow you to list Services and Packages on the same page, and you can also create a dedicated page for Gift Cards within Square.

In short:

• Booking can be embedded on your WordPress site
• Packages and gift cards can be added via buttons or links
• Services and packages can be displayed together on a single page using Square Sites.                                                     Happy to walk you through which option might make the most sense for your workflow and client experience.
