Be able to view a transaction from another store

We have multiple stores and we have a lot of customers who go to each of our stores. We add customer to every transaction. When we need to look something up and see their previous transactions we cannot click on any that are from a different store. So we can't even view what they purchased or even print the receipt to see what it includes. I don't understand why we can't view these transactions but it literally says that we do not have access when we try to view a transaction for a customer where the transaction was placed at a different store than the store that we are currently searching the customer's transactions. 

We would like to be able to view these no matter what store we're at for any customer.
