Appointment “Check In” option

The majority of us who use square appointments could benefit and have been asking for a check in option for years. To let the provider know their appointment has arrived.

 

The check in reports also would help us keep track of who’s early, who’s on time, and who is always late! 

im not sure why this request consistently gets passed by and disregarded.

Need this! It would be amazing if clients could come in and check in all by themselves. This would help keep track of our clients arrival times, notify our technicians, and make our salon more efficient especially when we’re busy and our receptionist is overwhelmed and can’t check people in, take payments, and schedule future appointments all at the same time.

I am a developer from Iceland looking to create a check-in system for the Square App Marketplace. Would either of you or both be interested to helping me develop such a solution? 😊

Before I can properly begin working on the solution I’d ideally need a beta customer using Square Appointments to work with me because I don’t have access to Square appointments from Iceland.

Appointment check in would be super beneficial for our receptionist instead of going around the salon looking for staff is there a feature that I’m missing?

I can certainly see why it would be useful, so I've gone ahead and added your support to an existing Feature Request on our Ideate Board. I can see the status is currently set to 'New', and that there are discussions amongst our product team around this topic, so stay tuned for any developments.
