A Return button on the grid to allow a cashier to return any item (including miscellaneous items with a custom price/amount), regardless of a receipt or transaction existing in the system. The system should allow $$ to be returned to any valid payment type, (e.g. Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, Gift Card, Other Gift Card, Store Credit, etc.)
This type of feature is basic cash register stuff dating back 50+ years and is available on nearly every other POS system out there. I'm mystified that it doesn't exist in Square for Retail, given how common this type of situation can be in the retail world, and that threads in the seller community go back 5+ years about this.

Workflow:
RETURN Button on main checkout screen,
Return window opens: scan receipt or item
- If receipt scans, the current return window is perfect (Return All, or select item)
- If item is scanned, display lowest price in last 30-days.
- Allow for price to be overridden with manager code. After all items scanned option for Refund or Exchange should appear
- Refund should present with available options: cash out by original payment, Cash, gift card credit
- Warning should appear (e.g. "Are you sure?" or similar)
- Exchange should present with cart screen showing the return value.
