One of my biggest challenges over the years is labor; keeping it profitable without putting everything on my list. We make everything we can from scratch, which can mean longer prep times but also can lead to mistakes and therefore, redo's on labor. My COGS have always been great; it's the labor that's killed me. It's more under control now that I've slowed my business down to kinda regroup. I know it's a common issue in the food space in general, but especially bakeries.

@anyab One thing I would love to be able to see and I know has been suggested is the ability to tie an item cost like in retail? Ideally we could have recipes that link to inventory management of ingredients to track item usage so to speak. But at least being able to do some theoretical costing inside the restaurant version of the app where we can update our item cost. It would be great to be able to compare our expected food cost to actual. Also, lets us calculate margins more effectively.

Adding the ability to break ingredients out as a seperate "description" item would help increase sales through better visibility of customer critical details, and improve item turn over, thus reducing shrink and increasing profitability ๐
