We have a card area in our shops and always love new ones!
This past quarter we've taken the leap and moved up from our lease by making the huge decision to purchase our restaurant's building. We're also close to completing construction on an expanded commercial kitchen for more bagel making capacity.
Next year: maybe a food truck or second location!

2024 felt like a big risk for us! Opening a second location is not for the faint of heart.
Still processing out what we'd like to see in 2025.
Probably some shop upgrades, more events, and getting our coffee cart to a place where we can use it more and make it profitable!
Not being in the shop 24/7! We have had to take a step back because our mother got an injury so we are helping her out and it has shown us this could be a good thing going forward in the future.

The big risk I will be taking in 2025 is to continue sourcing my products where I source them now in the face of potential additional tariffs that I will have to pay and then pass on to my customers. Many of my products can't be manufactured here in the States because either the equipment needed or the expertise to make that product does not exist here. For the time being, I'm stocking up as much as I can before the new administration so I will be in a position of watching how it plays out for a while. When it's time to restock next year, it will be decision time.
I will be opening 2 new locations in 2025. That’s a big risk.

I want to explore making art available online without compromising artists's original work to trolls, including AI!
2025 I'll be focusing on growing the luxury category of our business and working to find better condition/newer luxury pieces for my customers!
Investing in personal mentoring and masterminds. This will allow me to fine tune the systems and workflows in my business, as well as identify anything else that may require attention and scale to at least my first $1,000,000 in a year.
Fantastic! Fine tuning systems and workflows is a big focus that helps create revenue growth and more confidence among the team.
Sometimes while the changes are happening, it creates a little bit of anxiety among the team as change is often something that is hard for people when they are used to certain ways.
In the end though it should be better and create a more confident and empowered team.
That is what we are doing right now as well. And we are also anticipating that 2025 Will be our first million dollar year.
We are attempting to add this:
Between increasing our mobile capabilities we're also adding new staff & transitioning ownership %s & participation. Plus I'd like to "go back to our roots" as far as what we offer and when IE a weekly menu that changes.

I can't believe I'm saying this out loud but the potential of opening another space... we've been expanding since we opened 6 years ago and there is potential to open another space near ours with a complimentary service that we think would be a GREAT addition.. super scary with all the talk on tariffs/trade wars/economic hurdles happening.
but all business is a risk, right? YIKES
It is kind of like investing. Buy and grow when everyone else is selling off! You grow, girl!
