Hi Gurus,
We are a small community sporting club in Australia. We have members and different types of memberships. We are wanting to move to digital membership cards with QR codes that sit in a phone wallet. I know Square can link customer info from the membership platform into Square.
What we need is a tabletop/desk mounted QR code scanner that is compatible with square so member discounts can be applied at the point of sale. We do NOT want a handheld scanner.
Sadly, Square support said we'd just have to buy a 3rd party scanner and see if it works. This is a little annoying as we can't really afford to pay potentially multiple hundreds of $$$ to test scanners.
Just wondering if anyone has done this and what type of scanner might be compatible?
Cheers,
Dustin
Looks like I might have answered my own question. For anyone else out there - Honeywell have some that are listed as compatible on their site.

The Honeywell Genesis XP 7680g & Honeywell Orbit HF6802D appear to be compatible.
