Any updates on this? I feel like it's an important enough item to switch to companies that offer it like Shopify. With more and more companies offering competitive features, there seems to be fewer and fewer reasons to stay on this platform.

I've been using a referral platform called ViralRef that's built specifically for Square merchants, honestly love it. I know the owner personally, and right now he's looking for merchants willing to share feedback in exchange for 3 months free.

I think this is coming, but if it is not, then Per Diem is a good option. They just launched this system.

10 years and counting. We got tired of waiting and built ViralRef — plugs into Square via OAuth, tracks referrals automatically, and rewards customers with gift cards or coupons. Happy to share more if you're interested.
